Highlands Residential Mortgage was created in 2010 in the midst of uncertainty and rapid change in the mortgage industry. A group of like-minded seasoned veterans came together to create a company with an employee-focused culture. A culture that values its members both personally and professionally and a company built on the idea that the customer comes first! We believe Highlands Residential Mortgage is such a place. Our Mission to value people drives everything we do.

After working in the engineering field, I began my mortgage career in 1996. Since then I have helped over 1,600 families get into their new home or refinance their current mortgage. I was president of the Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association in 2006 and 2012-13, and the president of the TN Mortgage Bankers Association in 2010.

Even after 22+ years in the industry, I still get excited for my clients when I see them getting the home that they have dreamed about, or I see how much money I saved them when they refinanced.

My mission statement: My purpose is to eagerly educate, respectfully counsel, and facilitate responsible home financing with every client by providing timely and accurate information, offering my expertise, compassion, and honesty, and by the guidance of the code of ethics and my faith.
