I am proud to share the below press release with all of you this morning which announces Highlands Residential Mortgage as making the SMU|COX Dallas 100 for the second year in a row! This award recognizes the top 100 fastest growing privately owned companies in the Dallas area annually. Last year in our first year of eligibility, we not only made the list but landed at #11. We were also the only mortgage company in the top 100.
This year, we are very excited that our company and all of our employees are being honored for the 2nd year in a row. This award represents all of the hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence exuded by all of you on a daily basis. While we do not do what we do to win awards, it is nice to see all of our team being recognized for the true difference that we make in each of the communities we serve! Our growth over the last several years has been outstanding as we continue to outperform the industry averages by a wide margin.
