Highlands Residential Mortgage is thrilled to welcome Dan Carson as SVP/Area Manager at our Dallas (Park Cities), Texas Branch. With over a decade of experience in the mortgage industry, Carson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Prior to joining Highlands Residential Mortgage, Dan served in various leadership positions, including SVP/Producing Partnership Area Manager at OriginPoint, Senior VP of National Production at Willow Bend Mortgage Company, and growth-focused leadership roles at PrimeLending and PNC Bank. Throughout his career, Carson has been pivotal in driving significant growth by strategically expanding markets with top-producing mortgage branches and enhancing team performance through systematic processes.
Carson’s commitment to excellence in mortgage lending is underscored by his recognition as 2023’s Loan Officer of the Year in South Florida Agent Magazine and multiple awards as one of D Magazine’s Best Mortgage Professionals and Top Mortgage Producers in Dallas. In 2023 he was also recognized as a Scotsman’s Guide Top 1% Originator.
Dan’s industry leadership extends well beyond his production achievements. He represented Texas at a national level as a Mortgage Bankers Association Future Leaders Graduate in 2019 contributing to advancements in the mortgage industry through valuable skills and connections. He also has served within the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association and Texas MBA.
