Growth isn’t just about opening new locations or increasing production. At Highlands Residential Mortgage, it’s about building something stronger: adding the right people, serving more communities, and continuing to deliver the personalized mortgage experience that has defined our company since day one.
The first half of 2026 has been an exciting chapter in that journey.
Despite a housing market that continues to present challenges, Highlands has experienced meaningful growth while remaining focused on what matters most: helping more families achieve homeownership through exceptional service and trusted local expertise.
Growing With Purpose
During the first six months of 2026, Highlands welcomed 10 new branch locations and more than 50 experienced Loan Officers, expanding our ability to serve homebuyers and referral partners across the country.
Our newest branches include:
- San Antonio, Texas
- Columbus, Ohio
- Branson, Missouri
- Springfield, Missouri
- Grand Junction, Colorado
- Knoxville, Tennessee
- Corsicana, Texas
- Greenville, South Carolina
- Grand Rapids, Michigan
- Sturbridge, Massachusetts
Each new market represents more than geographic expansion. It reflects our commitment to partnering with mortgage professionals who share our values, our customer-first philosophy, and our passion for building lasting relationships within the communities they serve.
Momentum Built on Service
Our growth has been matched by strong performance across the organization.
In June, Highlands funded more than $278 million in home loans, making it our largest funded volume month in more than four years. Year-over-year funded loan volume has also increased, demonstrating the strength of our platform and the dedication of our team.
These milestones are made possible by the collaboration of every department—from Loan Officers and Operations to Underwriting, Processing, Closing, Secondary Marketing, and our corporate support teams. Together, they create an experience that borrowers and business partners can count on from application through closing.
Standing Out in Every Market
Success in today’s mortgage industry requires more than competitive loan products. It requires trusted relationships, operational excellence, and a commitment to serving customers with consistency and care.
Even as interest rates remain elevated, Highlands continues to grow by investing in experienced professionals, supporting our originators with industry-leading resources, and maintaining a culture centered on service, collaboration, and accountability.
That approach has allowed us to continue attracting talented mortgage professionals while earning the trust of borrowers, Realtors, builders, and business partners nationwide.
Looking Ahead
As we enter the second half of 2026, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead.
Our thoughtful approach to growth has strengthened our team, expanded our reach, and positioned Highlands to serve even more communities across the country. Most importantly, it reinforces our mission of helping families achieve homeownership while creating opportunities for our employees and business partners to succeed.
Growth is most meaningful when it’s built on strong relationships, exceptional service, and a shared commitment to doing what’s right.
