Highlands Residential Mortgage was created in 2010 in the midst of uncertainty and rapid change in the mortgage industry. A group of like-minded seasoned veterans came together to create a company with an employee-focused culture. Skip, a Georgian by birth moved to Charlotte in 1984. He graduated from Rockdale County High School in Conyers, Georgia and then received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Skip is married to Claire and they have two children, Glenn 20 and Polly 16. Skip loves football and pulls for his Carolina Panthers and Georgia Bulldogs. Skip is a big runner and completed his first marathon in 2016.

Skip has 30 years’ experience helping his clients purchase and refinance their homes and has closed over $600 Million in mortgage loans in his career.
