2018 brought with it our fifth consecutive year of growth! Even though other lenders are struggling through the end of this year, we continue to see amazing progress in production and in growing our team. We have positioned our company to thrive, even when conditions don’t look all that great in the industry. We’ve also invested in growing our team members and are thrilled when they are able to gain new opportunities and promotions internally. We’ve also expanded our production footprint with the addition of some truly amazing branches and loan officers.
We could not be prouder of the team (FAMILY) we have here at Highlands. Our focus is always on providing the best support to our team members so that they (and we, as a whole) are successful and genuinely excited to come to work.
Giving back to our communities is such an integral part of who we are, and it is no surprise we have a long list of Highlands Gives Back initiatives to celebrate! This year, we partnered up with Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support. Their tireless efforts provide a way out for women who are in abusive situations. We are so honored to be able to support this incredibly powerful and needed resource in our community.
We also continue to team up with Timothy “The Soupman” David in Dallas as he brings food, encouragement, and resources to the homeless in Dallas. His is truly a mission of love to feed the hungry and make all feel welcome! Everyone at Highlands also came together and teamed up to raise and donate over six thousand dollars to the Red Cross after Hurricane Florence ravaged the Carolinas. Our Corporate office and our branches get involved every day with local community support efforts. There are so many, it is impossible to list them all! Thank you to our customers, partners, and most of all – our teammates for all you do to support these organizations and help Highlands Give Back!
