This month, we celebrate Memorial Day and remember all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today. Our Highlands family has a wonderful Memorial Day story to share! Joy Ramsier, one of our very own processors in the Plano West branch, will be celebrating her 4 year Highlands anniversary next month in June. Her daughter, Alexa, is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Alexa recently returned home from a six month deployment in Afghanistan. She was able to take U.S. flags on their missions and fly them in honor of people and loved ones back home. In her latest deployment, Alexa had one flag flown in honor of our family at Highlands Residential Mortgage. We are so happy that Alexa made it home safely and are very proud of her and all of our military personnel representing our country every day.
